Dear parents,
Another school year is well on it's way and I am very excited to be teaching Computers & Technology once again to your child! This year, we will be adding a couple of new programs to our lesson plans including Microsoft Publisher for our older students and TuxPaint for our younger guys & girls! We have also upgraded to the 2007 versions of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint, so those programs will be “re-taught” to all students.
This year, we will be exploring some fun new technology concepts such as Digital Storytelling and Animation. I have already had the opportunity to share some examples of Digital Storytelling videos with the students and I can't begin to describe their excitement!
