May
What a privilege it has been to work with your students this year! If you look at the word list on the right, you will see about 75% of the words that your student learned this year in Spanish class. You child is on his/her way to being a bilingual individual. Thank you for all of your support in helping them achieve their goals. I look forward to working with your children for many years to come!
Marquis Place
The students sang the Christmas songs two times; once in the regular dining area, and once for the residents in the memory unit. Due to some battery failure, we were only able to record the second session. The Kindergarten students sang beautifully! They brought joy to so many people!
Here are the students singing "Angels We Have Heard on High", and "Away in a Manger"
December
The Kindergarten classes will be finishing up learning the body parts in December as well as work on the alphabet. If time allows before Christmas break, we will work on the words Grande - Big, Chiquito/a - Small, and Mediano/a - Medium
Below is our greeting song. Please listen to the song and practice it at home. We will sing this at the beginning of each Spanish class!
