The 5^th graders enjoyed their 4-H Bridges presentation and accepted the challenge of creating bridges out of craft sticks and glue.  The goal was to support 10 lbs. of weight on each bridge, and the kiddos did so with an amazing 100% accuracy.  The most weight held was 63 1/2 lbs, which was all the presenter brought.  She thought many of them could hold 100 pounds!
