The 5th graders have been focusing on the "presence" of Christ, rather than the "presents" that are often associated with Christmas. Each student made an original Advent calendar that had suggestions for daily activities to focus on Christ and all we have to be thankful for. They presented them to the kindergarten & 1st grade classes to get their hearts and minds in the right place during Advent.
