1. Precepts of the Church:
Positive laws made by Church authorities for the sake of growth in love of God and neighbor.
2. Pride:
One of the seven capital sins. It is undue self esteem or self love, which seeks attention and honor and sets oneself in competition with God.
3. Priest:
Someone who is ordained to minister within the Church. The main duties of the priest include preaching, celebrating Mass, administering the other sacraments, and exercising a role of leadership within the Church.
4. Processions:
A solemn walk for a religious purpose, usually accompanied by prayers and hymns.
5. Profession:
The taking of vows on joining a religious order.
6. Profession of Faith:
The creed of faith which summarizes the faith professed by Christians.
7. Prophet:
One sent by God to form the people of the Old Covenant in the hope of salvation. Prophets are often authors of books of the Old Testament.
8. Protestant:
A person who believes in Christ and has been baptized, but who does not profess the Catholic faith in its entirety; he/she is a member of a Protestant church or ecclesial community.
The dispositions by which God guides His creation toward its perfection yet to be attained; the protection and governance of God over all creation.
10. Prudence:
The virtue which disposes a person to discern the good and choose the correct means to accomplish it.
