- Teacher Acknowledgement/ Non-Verbal Warning
- Walking closer to student
- Touching student on shoulder
- Giving student “the look”
- Teacher Gives Verbal Warning
- Teacher and student will talk face-to-face
- Student will be given an opportunity to self-correct
- Student may be asked to move seats
- Student may lose participation points
- Student Will Be Given a Card
- Student will be removed from the group activity
- Student will complete Stop Think and Plan sheet
- Plan will be discussed with teacher
- Plan sheet will be given to homeroom teacher to cooperate with their discipline cycle
*Both the individual student and the entire class will earn rewards for exhibiting great DWP skills in music class.
Possible rewards include:
Verbal praise from the teacher
Student opportunity to be the leader
Student choice of activity
Points added to participation grade
Stickers
Music game day
