Here is the book's website and my suggestions to help you prepare for your expedition into 7th grade math!
http://phschool.com/webcodes10/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.gotoWebCode&wcprefix=ack&wcsuffix=0099
Feel free to look around the site and get yourself acquainted.
Mr. Welch suggests that you find the answers to these questions on the site:
1. If I miss a lesson in class, and would like it verbally and visually explained to me, where can I go?
2. Where can I go to test myself to see if I know all the vocabulary in a chapter, (in a fun crossword puzzle format)?
3. If I am studying for a test and would like to take a practice one to see if I am prepared, where can I go?
Mr. Welch's other suggestion:
Go to the course website for your 6th grade math textbook at:
http://phschool.com/webcodes10/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.gotoWebCode&wcprefix=abk&wcsuffix=0099
1. Click on end of course test.
2. Take the test online.
3. After the test is scored, review your answers to see what you missed.
If you did well, congratulations, you are probably ready for 7th grade math!
If you did not do well, don't worry, we will review at the beginning of the year. You may also want to look around the website for help reviewing some concepts. You could probably also ask a parent to help you review what you have missed.
