Library Expectations

Looks like/sounds like            Doesn’t look/sound like

Silent unless spoken to by a teacher or library volunteer.   When speaking, use quiet voice.   Follow all directions given by the teacher or library volunteers.   Treat all books with respect.   When taking a book from the shelf to view, put it back in the correct spot.

Talking when not spoken to.   Talking in loud voice.   Failing to follow directions of the library volunteers.   Being rough with the books.    Putting books back in the wrong spots.
