Happy Last Week!!
Special Thanks:
We want to thank you for sharing your children with us this year. We feel so blessed to work with them. We wish you and your families a very happy summer filled with relaxing days and happy memories.
We also give thanks to Mr. Torson, our teacher assistant. He will not be returning next year, but we wish him the best in the future. He has loved his time with the children, and we appreciate everything he has done for us. He will be missed by all!
Language Arts- We will read “Do Animals Think?”. Students will review the following skills: making inferences, drawing conclusions, using multiple meaning words, and determining the author’s purpose. We will also discuss adverbs.
* Students will read poetry this week and perform their poems at a Poetry Café in our classrooms!
Spelling- No spelling this week!
Math- Ch. 19 Test- Tuesday, May 19th
Reminders:
· Please return all library book ASAP
· Our last school mass will be Thursday, May 14th.
· Field Day is Thursday afternoon from 12:30-3:00.
· 11:00 Dismissal Friday!
